INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE
A central objective of organum moda is to create meaningful exchange among artists working across different musical, cultural, educational, institutional, and technological contexts.
International exchange is not understood as the passive representation of difference. It is a process of attentive listening, translation, comparison, disagreement, and reciprocal transformation. Participants are expected to articulate their positions precisely while remaining open to the possibility that sustained engagement with unfamiliar practices may alter their assumptions.
Repeated contact allows relationships to develop beyond brief professional encounter and may support future performances, research, curatorial initiatives, publications, ensembles, and collaborations.
